- Freenote's 1900s reproduction denim pays homage to fabrics produced at the turn of the century. This fabric replicates denim originally made by the Amoskeag Manufacturing Company. Once one of the largest textile mills in the world, Amoskeag produced textiles in Manchester, New Hampshire for nearly a century before closing in 1935. This revival is custom milled in Japan to replicate the dye, texture, and weave of the era. Freenote's Portola denim is cut in a classic tapered fit, featuring a roomy top block with a moderate taper through the leg. The jeans are finished with herringbone twill pocket bags, copper hardware, and a custom leather patch.
- 11oz reproduction selvedge denim milled in Japan
- Freenote's tapered "Portola" fit is designed with additional room in the top block and thighs with a moderate taper from the knee down
- Two-piece waistband to prevent overstretching
- Custom Freenote-branded leather patch
- Custom Freenote-branded rivets and hardware
- Japanese hickory stripe pocket bags
