- Made from a 1920s workwear-inspired Japanese selvedge denim, the Cat's Pyjamas Selvedge features a lightweight 8.25oz fabric woven with a period-correct color and structure. While considered lightweight by modern standards, 8oz fabrics were originally categorized as “heavyweight” throughout early-1900s catalogs. The fabric features a vintage indigo rope-dyed warp paired with a beige-cast weft, resulting in an warm-earth colored tone. The jeans are finished with a reinforced paper patch and tin buttons.
