- Woven on vintage looms, Studio D'artisan's "Rain Kasuri" series replicates falling raindrops through intricate kasuri dyed fabrics woven with varying gauge thread. Offered in the brand's modified Type-2 design, the jacket sports riveted construction and the signature Type-2 pleating at the placket. The Rain Kasuri fabric showcases an irregular slub yarn woven vertically, resulting in varied surface texture throughout the fabric. Woven at a low-tension, the fabric attains a rugged three-dimensional texture that accentuates its unique color. The final product undergoes a rinse to minimize shrinkage and is equipped with two large chest pockets waist adjusters at the hip.
