  • Originally issued to USAAF Airmen, the B-10 Flight Jacket is the predecessor to the iconic MA-1 Jacket. Introduced 1943 prior to the founding of the U.S Air Force, the Flight Jacket was designed to combat cold-weather climates complete with an alpaca-wool liner and sheep mouton collar. The Type B-10 features a durable cotton sateen outer shell, the fabric of choice prior to switching to nylon alternatives. Finished with wool ribbing, large patch pockets at the waist, and custom 1940s bell shaped brass zipper.
