- The XX Jeans are cut with a vintage-straight leg modeled after WWII era denim. Boncoura founder and designer Hisashi Morishima references vintage XX jeans spanning different periods in an effort to create the pinnacle version of the highly-regarded WWII XX denim. Built using Boncoura's Ikemen (handsome) denim, the fabric is woven on vintage shuttle-looms using high-twist raw cotton yarns. The denim features a highly durable, dense 15oz weave with a moderate slub texture and loomstate-hairy finish. The jeans are fitted with an array of custom details highlighting the brand's heavy involvement through the production process. Presented in a one-wash rinsed state to eliminate shrinkage.
